The very first "Taste of Los Feliz" is set for Sunday, October 8, 2006. Be sure to check out Vermont Avenue between Prospect and Franklin for over 18 local restaurants and cafés who are participants.
General admission for adults is $35 per person and $15 for children under 12 years of age. Participants can be an “angel” and purchase 2 tickets for $100.
The Taste of Los Feliz is sponsored by the Los Feliz Ledger and is supported by the Los Feliz Business Improvement District.

The event will hold a raffle with grand prize being a monthly dinner for two at 12 Los Angeles area restaurants, tickets to the Greek Theatre and a personal tour of the newly renovated Observatory, and many other prizes and gift certificates. Raffle tickets are $5 each; a book of 5 tickets is $20.
The event raises funds for Hope-Net, a non-profit organization that serves the poor and homeless in Metro Los Angeles. Hope-Net operates 14 local food pantries serving over 125,000 persons and 400,000 meals annually, as well as the Hope West Apartments for low income families.
